Project Engineer - Civil Engineering

Overview:
Kapur is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our Site Design Team in North Port, Florida. This role involves designing and planning the production of site civil engineering construction plans. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) and a background in private site development is a plus.
 
Responsibilities:

• Create and develop site civil engineering construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist in the permitting processes for various projects, complying with local and state regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Work with permitting agencies to meet all project requirements.
• Maintain and apply knowledge of local site development codes to comply with regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering.
• Proven experience with the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD).
• Private site development experience is a plus.
• Storm water management experience highly preferred.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting.
• Experience with the MS Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong communication skills for effective client and agency coordination.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
