?The newly formed bell choir, Bel Canto Ringers, is well under way at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church of North Port. The handbell choir has already had three performances and have many more to occur in the coming months. Membership is open to all members as well as guests wanting to participate in a dedicated musical group.

??Members are not required to read music and the learning process takes place in one rehearsal. In addition to special church holidays, the bells are busy preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas performances. Interest has really fostered this group as they rehearse every Thursday at 4:00 at St. Paul's, located at 12497 South Tamiami Trail in North Port. ?For more information, contact their director, Dennis Sullivan, at 941-426-2552, or leave a message.
